Virginia Marker History – Volume III is a pictorial guidebook to the more than 340 Virginia historical road markers located in the Richmond Region of Virginia.  Consisting of 388 pages, it includes a full page color image of each marker located in Amelia, Chesterfield, Dinwiddie, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico and Powhatan counties and the independent cities of Colonial Heights, Petersburg and Richmond.  It also includes a convenient marker title, marker number, gps coordinate, and geographic location index for easy reference.  The images are grouped by key historic periods and arranged chronologically within each, providing a unique regional overview of significant places, events and people that define our past and have shaped who we are today.
